Curriculum Vitae


Dr. Filip Bialy is an Assistant Professor at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan (AMU). His research interests focus on societal and political implications of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies. In particular, he explores relationship between digitalization and political concepts and ideologies. At the same time, he is actively engaged in encouraging adoption of AI ethics in private and public sectors. Filip Bialy holds a PhD in political theory and a postgraduate diploma in data processing and Big Data. He was a visiting fellow in the Department of Government at the London School of Economics and Political Science and at the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Cambridge. He has authored, co-authored and co-edited several books on democratic theory, ideology and political science, and politics of popular culture.
