Mareike Fenja Bauer is a PhD Candidate and researcher at the European New School of Digital Studies. She has a background in information science, political science, and social science. In her PhD project she focusses on anti-feminism on visual social media platforms. More precisely, in her doctoral research she is interest in how female anti-feminist influencers engage in meaning-making processes and the distribution of anti-feminism on visual social media platforms.
